About Ali:

A dual board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician, Ali combines well-honed practical clinical skills with a passion for improving both standards of care as well as the experience of the healthcare system by patients and their caregivers. Ali’s career thus far has been notable for leadership balanced across various domains – from traditional bedside care, classroom teaching and research, to institutional quality assurance committees.

Ali is published in both peer-reviewed journals and medical textbooks, and he is an oft-invited speaker at academic medical centers and professional conferences on a wide range of technical and quality improvement topics. His work benefits patient outcomes from the operating room to the outpatient clinic, from reducing procedure time to preventing complications of polypharmacy.

When not working with Welltide clients, Ali can be found treating patients, teaching medical students and residents across metro-Boston, and helping to lead Lahey Hospital’s anesthesiology residency.
