About Jordan:

A trusted forensic scientist, Jordan brings intellectual rigor to her work in the lab and courtroom, as an experienced firearms examiner, serologist, and manager of quality assurance and accreditation. Whether testifying as an expert witness, conducting casework peer-review, or teaching the latest diagnostic technology and techniques, Jordan enhances credibility on behalf of her clients in judicial as well as academic proceedings.

Jordan’s exhaustive work in real-world evidence examination has helped inform her original research in emerging firearms-related technology to take advantage of machine-based capabilities, maximizing otherwise limited resources typically available in forensic laboratories. Jordan has also developed expertise in various gold-standard methods to improve laboratory processes and quality. She is well-versed in the use and optimization of database entry and workflow for the National Integrated Ballistics Information Network (NIBIN), and she conducts ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) ISO/IEC 17025:2017 assessments of laboratories around the world. Jordan is a frequently invited speaker at academic, governmental, and professional society conferences nationwide.

Thanks in part to her leadership, the Tulsa Police Department Forensic Laboratory, where Jordan serves as the Quality Assurance and Accreditation manager, is a multi-year recipient of the Foresight Maximus Award through the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors, putting her department among the best forensics labs in the world.
